One of the greatest pleasures that my job allows is the flexible time to spend being involved in community sports. This year I was part of the coaching team for a rowdy group of nine and ten year old boys (okay…one or two were rowdy enough for everybody!).
Today marked our last time playing together as a team.
I count it a priviledge to have come to know the boys and their families. It brought back many memories from my own time as a hockey dad.
Best of luck next year to all and thanks to Norm Pengelly for the reminder that I got to share the bench with some superheroes.
